In a weeks time there will be the opening of a Land Art project in Fjærland, called the Rundballe festival. Rundballe is the big white "eggs" that are lying around on farmed land, and substitutes the process that the silo used to do to the grass. Artist Magne Vangsnes is these days placing them around in the fields to make differendt formations, see
Rundballeblog for more pictures. This is a neat and rather interesting way of seeing literally "down to earth" objects suddenly take ona new form. I get many thoughts about landscape, form and and our influence on and perception of these concepts. (ugly vs. beatuiful, artificial vs. natural etc.) Hope you enjoy the pictures, which I did last Wednesday.
